Overview

ESE (Early Streamer Emission) — a controlled ionization at the tip launches an upward streamer earlier than a passive rod, extending the effective protection radius at a given height.
Current Limiting — an engineered series gap / limiting section between the tip and the down-conductor attenuates the amplitude and the rate-of-rise (di/dt) of the conducted lightning current, reducing stress on the structure and on the sensitive systems inside it.
